Thoughts from Development & Outreach
The Development and Outreach team celebrates all of our volunteers, advocates, supporters and donors for making our work possible. Without this community of support, LIRS would not be able to do the important work of serving refugees and migrants. There are many Bible passages that come to mind as to why this work is not only crucial, but required. However, perhaps the most direct call to action is from Matthew 25:35: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me…”
Thank you for participating in this holy work of welcome!
